Love Offering

At First City Teaching Chapter, we are proud to offer Recovery Dharma, a peer-led program combining Buddhist principles and practices to support individuals in recovery from addiction. This non-theistic approach focuses on personal empowerment, community support, and spiritual growth through meditation, self-inquiry, and the Noble Eightfold Path.

Recovery Dharma helps participants cultivate mindfulness, emotional balance, and deeper self-awareness while fostering a supportive community through regular meetings. It emphasizes the importance of renouncing addictive behaviors, building relationships with wise friends and mentors, and embracing a lifelong journey of healing and awakening.

Open to individuals of all backgrounds, Recovery Dharma offers an inclusive, accessible recovery path grounded in wisdom, compassion, and personal growth without requiring adherence to any specific religious belief.
